He is also a Professor at the Euromerican Campus of the Institut d\u2019\u00c9tudes Politiques of Paris (Sciences Po) in Reims and co-director of the Research Seminar \u00abImages et repr\u00e9sentations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9\u00bb, as well as a member of the Research Lab CIRLEP (Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche sur les Langues et la Pens\u00e9e EA-4299) of Reims, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Langues N\u00e9o-Latines, the SHF (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Hispanistes Fran\u00e7ais) and the aiR (Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional Ram\u00f3n G\u00f3mez de la Serna).<\/p>\n<p>His academic background is mainly French: \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure of Fontenay-Saint-Cloud, 1989, \u00abAgr\u00e9gation Externe\u00bb (Spanish), 1993, PhD at the University of Paris-III Sorbonne-Nouvelle focused on Juan Goytisolo, 1999, \u00abHabilitation \u00e0 Diriger des Recherches\u00bb at the University of Paris-III Sorbonne-Nouvelle focused on Jos\u00e9 Hierro, 2005, having spent a year in Sevilla (1990-1991), having completed various short-term stays at foreign universities and having been a guest faculty at numerous universities (Hassiba Benbouali in Chlef, Abdelhamid Ibn Badis in Mostaganem and Benyoucef Benkhedda in Argel, 2014, University of \u00d8stfold in Halden, Norway, 2016, Stony Brook University in New York, USA, 2019 and as an Erasmus Professor at University of Aldo Moro in Bari, Italy, 2010, University of Zaragoza, 2011, University of San Clemente of Ohrid in Sof\u00eda, Bulgaria, 2012, 2015, 2018, University of Alejandro Juan Cuza of Ia\u015fi in Romania, 2017). He has coordinated the Erasmus of the University of Malaga between 2003 and 2012, with numerous stays at the university during this period.<\/p>\n<p>His research topics include the literature and culture of modern and contemporary Spain (20<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> centuries), written work and images:\u00a0 Ram\u00f3n G\u00f3mez de la Serna and the avant-garde movements, Juan Goytisolo, Javier Mar\u00edas, Juan Gil-Albert, Jos\u00e9 Hierro, Juan Antonio Gonz\u00e1lez Iglesias, and the novel, poetry or film (Jes\u00fas Franco, Eloy de la Iglesia, Adolfo Arrieta) under the Franco regime and censorship, French-writing Spanish writers, popular productions, kitsch, reception issues, Eros and politics, literary translation.<\/p>\n<p>He has authored over one-hundred articles and elven books, as the main author, as a co-editor (congress minutes), or as a translator. He has also co-edited a bilingual collection of the poets of the generation of 27, which will soon be published through \u00c9pure de Reims, and is currently working on an anthology of the cult poet from Canarias F\u00e9lix Francisco Casanova (1956-1976).
