During her last year interned at the Spanish Literature Department, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Antonio Tordera. In 2016 she completed her studies in Dramaturgy at the RESAD in Madrid. She is currently coursing and MA in Literary and Theatric Education and Research in the European Context through the UNED.<\/p>\n<p>In 2008 she wrote her first play, Cardiovascular,\u00a0which was the finalist of the 5<sup>th<\/sup> Nuevos Tiempos Theatre Awards of the AET;\u00a0it was premiered by the company Cactus Teatre (of which she is a founding member) and directed by the author. The show was selected by the First Cycle of Emergentes that took place at the Teatro Rialto in Valencia.<\/p>\n<p>This success as a playwright was followed by several plays: Tirant, an adaptation of the classic by Joanot Martorell for the Institut Valenci\u00e0 de Cultura;\u00a0El abrazo de los gusanos,\u00a0for Dramaturgias actuales of the INAEM;\u00a0Peque\u00f1a Zorra\u00a0and\u00a0En un banco,\u00a0performed at the Miniteatro in Valencia;\u00a0Contemporani,\u00a0which compiles the texts of various authors that participated in a workshop offered at the ESAD and which is edited by the University of Valencia as part of their collection \u201cTeatro Siglo XXI\u201d;\u00a0Recuerdos del olvido,\u00a0part of the collection Teatro M\u00ednimo of the RESAD and its Valencian language version in El Drac d\u2019Europa\u00a0by Edicions 96; Flores silenciadas,\u00a0published by Fundamentos; the monologue\u00a0Diazepam,\u00a0with which she participated at the 21<sup>st<\/sup> edition of the Monologue Marathon of the AAT;\u00a0Lluvia, which she directed with her company and which is published as part of the RESAD Year of 2016 in Fundamentos; and\u00a0Hijos de Ver\u00f3nica, co-written with other authors, which premiered at the Russafa Esc\u00e9nica Festival 2016, directed by Jer\u00f3nimo Cornelles and published by El Petit Editor. This last play was finalist at the Literary Critics Awards of the Valencia Community, organized annually by the Writers and Literary Critics Association (CLAVE).<\/p>\n<p>As an actress, Paula Llorens has participated in numerous productions, such as\u00a0Per davant i per darrere,\u00a0by Olympia Metropolitana; Momo,\u00a0at the Palau de la M\u00fasica; Historia de una maestra, Lluvia and Cardiovascular,\u00a0by Cactus Teatre;\u00a0El Coloquio de los perros,\u00a0by Amanece Teatro;\u00a0Temporada Baja, by CulturArts;\u00a0El Geperut de Notre Dame, by Bambalina Teatre and Centro Teatral Escalante;\u00a0Canciones y amor con queso,\u00a0by Oscura Teatre\u2026 She has been nominated to the Cris\u00e1lide Award by AAPV (2012), the Best Leading Actress Award at the Comedy Theatre Award \u201cCiudad de Cullera\u201d (2011) and the Best Supporting Actress Award at the \u201cVilla de Mislata\u201d (2010).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Paula Llorens has worked as an Assistant Director at\u00a0Mul\u00efer\u00a0y\u00a0L\u00fa,\u00a0by Maduixa Teatre (Max Award as Best Street Production 2017),\u00a0Den Haag,\u00a0by Gabi Ochoa,\u00a0Petit Pierre, by Bambalina Teatre, directed by Carles Alfaro, and\u00a0Pulveriza, by A. Through her reminiscing, we encounter some of the most relevant personalities and events of early 20<sup>th<\/sup> Century Spain.
