
Marta B. Ferrari
Tenured teacher.
Marta Ferrari is a a tenured teacher with exclusive dedication in the Spanish Literature and Culture II chair at the National University of Mar del Plata. She has delivered undergraduate and postgraduate seminars at both the National University of Mar del Plata and the University of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Hispanic American Letters (Celehis), and a member of the Doctoral Committee of the Faculty of Humanities of the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP).
She has been a guest speaker and visiting professor invited by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, by the University of the Republic (Uruguay), at the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), the University of Oviedo, the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of Extremadura, and at the University of Bergamo (Italy).
She has directed various research projects and she is currently taking part in the project “Redes, hermandades y agrupamientos en la literatura española (del Romanticismo a la era digital)” (“Networks, brotherhoods and groupings in Spanish literature (from Romanticism to the digital age)”.
She is the author of more than fifty articles published in specialized journals in Argentina and abroad, among them, Hispanic Journal of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Dissidences of Bowdoin College, Maine, Confluencia of the University of Northern Colorado, Iberoamericana of the University of Heidelberg, the Spanish journals Insula, Voz y Letra, Tropelías, Prosemas, among others.
She is the author of the books: La coartada metapoética. José Hierro, Angel González and Guillermo Carnero (2001), Jon Juaristi o la inocencia fingida (2004), Poesía española de los ´90. Una Antología de antologías (2008), and editor of the volume De la letra a la imagen. Narrativas Postfranquistas en sus versions fílmicas (2007). She is also the author of Vivir con las palabras. Poesía y pensamiento en Carlos Marzal (2010) y Unamuno poeta: obrero del pensamiento (2014). Her latest book is titled Amazonas de las Letras. Discursos de y sobre las literatas en la España del XIX (2021).
